double or triple the usual rates. Costly doesn't necessarily equate to better

salon that sterilizes their tools. If you want to play it safe, you can even
bring your own set.
Never
ever let your nail technician cut your cuticle (that’s the transparent excess
skin around your nailbed). They can be pushed back but never cut.
Don’t
be afraid to complain if you’re not happy with the service you’re receiving. A
manicure or pedicure should never be painful.
Bring a
bottle of your favorite nail polish in case you don’t find a shade you want
from the salon’s selections. They might even give you a discount!
